engine detail?

engine detail?

I dont know if this question belongs in this forum but oh well? What does anyone use to detail their WRX engine to get a show quality look? I have detailed honda and acura engines before and I know what to becarefull cleaning and what to cover up and etc on them but as far as on my WRX, I have no idea!!! Please only respond with POSITIVE comments only, lol!!!!

Make sure the engine is cold, and then spray it with Spray9 or Simple Green. Afterwards, rinse it with a pressure washer. Of course, if you have any dirt or grease buildup, you may have to scrub. Afterwards, you can use Armor All to shine stuff, but don't use too much. Make sure that everything has a chance to dry completely before you start it, and all should be well.

Don't spray your alternator or starter or you will be waiting to start your car for a while. THat is my only advice sorry.

on your enginer block facing the firewall. easiest way to find it is find your battery follow the positive cable to the engine block. where that ends that is your starter.
