Considering a WRX...
Hi there new member here.
I'm considering getting a new car within the next few months. Anyways, I took a look at the WRX today at a local dealerhship. I was really impressed with the car and all its features. I currently own an Acura 1.6 EL (Canada only model) and have owned Acura/Honda products all my life so far. Pretty much all my previous cars and my current car have all been modified in terms of performance, suspension, etc. but the reason I am considering the WRX, is that I want something that I can just drive and enjoy without modifying. Anyways, I would be getting one with an auto tranny (please don't flame) as I commute to work every day. Just looking for your thoughts and recommendations on the WRX in terms of reliability, performance, etc.
TIA.

Welcome
First, I think you will really enjoy the car greatly, however, you stated that you have mod'd other vehicles and dont plan on doing so with the WRX. I bet you will fall to temptation. I did anyway. Yeah in stop and go the car with auto might be just the ticket for those long freeway commutes. Really, the only thing that you might notice is that it could use some help with a sway bar. I didnt like the stock tires much either.
It is fun to drive car, wow I am spoiled. I drove a Mazda B2200 for about 8 years before I bought the WRX. Very fun, especially when you get into the boost range.
