I used the mothers clay bar. worked great, some jackass was using spray paint and the wind blew the junk all over my rex. the clay bar fixed it. for a while there, my rex was blue with yellow speckles. If you've never used an electric waxer before, be carefull. when used properly they work very well, but can screw up your paint just as fast as they can fix it.

Smile electric waxer = good

I hand waxed for years. However all of my cars were light in color; silver, red , white. When I baught my midnight blue wrx I had every intention of continueing the hand wax tradition: UNTIL: I started to notice the large radius swirl marks. The MNB paint reflects every imperfection in the paint. So I went out and purchased a 6" random orbit waxer. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! after justa few wax's the swirl markes have allmost completly deminished and the paint looks better than ever. I use mothers gold pure carnuba and couldn't be any happier
