Checking Interest in Carbon/Kevlar parts for your suby

Are there carbon fibre/ carbon kevlar parts you want for your car, but are not offered?
Most parts are made of standard carbon fibre. Would a carbon kevlar option of interest to currently made parts?

What parts?

Fenders
Dash
doors
hood
trunk
side skirts
other interior/exterior pieces

If there is enough interest in a peticular part, we might have it produced.
Please post your requests here.

Thank you,
Kevin

A hood without the scoop would be great for the guys running FMIC's. I think it looks goofy to still have the scoop with a FMIC.

How about Door Panels that actually hold larger than 4 1/2 in speakers?? I would surely be intrested. Something like a 6 1/2 in. speaker. fronts and rears.. Just a thought!

Carbon fiber center console with accompanying carbon fiber armrest/compartment, with both pieces that retain the use of factory mounting hardware for easy installation. Should shave off a few pounds as the OEM console has a steel plate reinforcement in the bottom and the optional armrest cover is fairly heavy.

Carbon fiber short shifter with steel inserts for the socket ball, pivot point, and threaded shift **** end. My Kartboy has served me well but it's a heavy piece. The shift lever doesn't need to be heavy, just stiff enough to resist any bending during vigorous use. This would be a complicated piece to manufacture because of the steel inserts but should save at least a pound.

Carbon fiber 'dome' light housing that replaces the factory piece. Cosmetic value, only.

Carbon fiber cover for spare tire well. Might not be a big seller because it wouldn't be visible with the trunk mat in place.

You can make the stock one's hold 6 1/2" door speakers. It requires baffles to be made. Most stereo shops could do this for you. I had 6's in my front doors and 5's in the rears. I have heard of people putting 6's in the rears as well.

I have been looking for a plain carbon fiber hood with no scoop, no vents, just a regular hood forever. If you make a regular carbon fiber hood for the 05 STi I know myself and at least one of my other friends will buy them.

What would people like to see?
A carbon cover panel for the pass through to the trunk?
Some kind of Rack?

What are peoples thoughts?

Carbon hoods for FMIC is the best Idea so far IMO.

Keep em' coming.
Thanks,
Kevin
