Casting Call: FREE drag racing AND be on NBC TV
Hi folks;
We have another casting call here in the LA area....they're hot on WRX's now!
We need some WRX's to appear on an NBC TV series (ever heard of Fear Factor?) filming this Thursday, the 1oth, at LACR in Palmdale, Calif. Cars do not have to be modified or even fast...stock WRX's are fine, but the flashier the better.
Start time is 9AM...you can't be late!
Space limited to first 200 cars, 130 signed so far.
You can drag race all day for free, if you want, or park and be static. The premise of the show is a challenge...four people are being selected to go up against (severaly handicapped) 11 second import cars. No word on who or what cars will be cast for those four challengers.

To get in:
Show up at the gates of LACR (Los Angeles County Raceway) in Palmdale AT 9AM. Tell them MovieCarZ sent you. Ask for Jennifer Lieberman from MovieCarZ or Carlos Ortiz.
Food/drink will be provided...dress for hot weather. You can bring as many guests as you like. Other hot import cars welcomed, too, but they're hot on WRX's/Imprezas.

Details on the Show:
"The Odds", a spinoff of Fear Factor is a new to NBC prime time show for the Fall schedule. Contestants are pitted against pros in their relative fields in a handicapped challenge where they must beat "The Odds". Much like NBC's Fear Factor, the show will reach 200Million+ homes and is on NBC primetime TV.
MovieCarZ has been asked to assist in casting of the vehicles. the site casts about 2 projects per month....and we're also fans of the WRX.
