Thank god they are gone.... I was totally disappointed that they made a mechanically agressive car look like the "HI" Neon's cousin. Yeah the new one isn't the best choice but a compromise between the last two models

One of the few things I hold against the new Ford Lightning pickup trucks is their Euro tail lights. To each his own, ehhhh?

If you did a survey of people from outside the I-club, I'd wager the results would change drastically.

good point...i was just thinking....if all cars had bug-eye type lights and a car company decided to make a car with the type of modern lights we have today on most cars....do u think people would hate those lights?

I don't understand the comparisons of the new lights to the civic. Civic lights don't have multiple reflector pods, nor do they have any orange in them. The general shape, a flattened triangle with round corners, is vaguely similar, but dozens of other cars also have triangular lights. If you look at the lights/grille/bumper combination, it looks nothing like a civic. I guess that is just the best insult they could come up with. Its a pretty lame come-back.

I like the Bug eyes... personally. I dont have the WRX yet (look at my name) but when i get it i would perfer the Bug eyes. The Bug eyes mad the car look different. Those who think it looks like a neon is correct due to the US spec lights but if u get the JP-spec light wether its the HID or NON it changes the look for the better. The picture with the white WRX STI on the first page looks good to me.
Every1 just likes the new lights cause it's the norm. The bug eyse are different so alot of ppl hate them. I didnt like them at first but i saw the JP-spec lights and loved it from them on.

i cant agree with u wen u say it looks like a neon....a neon is depressing...a wrx isnt....they ARE a little similar but not that similar....not to me anywayz
