Buying a WRX need help!

I have just started this week looking at a WRX sedan, 5spd manual, and I have ran into a couple issues, it seems that the dealer in my town doesn't have much WRX's of the one I'm looking with certain features. But I found a couple in a bigger city about a hr and laf away with exactly I want and the dealer claims it will cost them, meaning cost me, should I just drive up there and buy it from them? Also they said they could just add the features to the one in my town, but that would end up costing me money. Do they think I'm stupid. Also they obviously don't no prices. I need some assitance whats a reasonable price for me to take on a WR blue pearl, sedan, 5spd manual, rear deck spoiler, air filtration system, and a security system upgrade? They told me $24,034 plus tax, registration, is that a bad offer? I'm a newbie so any help would be appreciated!!! E

The price the dealership is quoting you sounds reasonable. If you want, check out www.Edmunds.com to figure out the price of each option. I was going to buy a 2003 WRX with short throw shifter, upgraded stereo system, and spoiler for 25.7 including tax, tags, registration, but I didn't go for it. The Sonic Yellow color of that year didn't do it for me.
Fortunately, I found and bought a 2002 Limited Edition Blaze Yellow WRX from a private owner who lived 2 hours away. The car had every conceivable option and the color I wanted! He was selling it for 21.5, but it had 25k on it- ouch! (Such a young car and so many miles.) He originally bought it for his 19 year old son to communte home from college on the weekends. Several speeding tickets later, his father took the car away. After weighing all the pro's and con's, and talked the guy down to 20, I decided the car was a steal. The drive to pick up my baby was well worth it!
It's all about what matters personally to you... and how much you'll spend for it.

well since there is plenty of them in this dealership and some others at the phoenix area im not gonna be in a rush, from my stance if I offer them what I want for them, im Sure they might take it into big consideration, since they have 17 sub wrx sedans alone with the 04 coming out in april and the sti's in june they sure as hell need to clear those old babies out, so it looks to my advantage, im hoping to get 22,5 for everything including tax, registration, thanks for assistance
