Subaru General Anything about Subaru related that would not be more appropriate in another existing i-Club forum.

Besides the obvious...(what do you like the most about your car?)

Thumbs up

How about having a badass website to go to.

Another thing i love is the respect you get from other car owners on the road and off. But then there's the dumb teenage honda owners who wanna race threw traffic and die. And i lovvvve how the back end looks if you shave the badges off. Looks clean.

It's been said a trillion times before but.........that boxer sound! Makes the hairs on my neck stand up. I can't get enough of it.

I will never sell my RS coupe. It is a classic already and the only witness to consecutive ***-kicking WRC championships (Especially in the earlier McCrae/ H pattern dogbox days). In there with the Escort Mk2 Cosworth, Audi Quattro and so on .I love that I can go from here to Europe and still see my car (I think we in Cali do it right though for being as slow to catch on to the scene as we are) I love the fact that there seems to be a place for every bolt-on to fit precisely. And I dont mean subaru specific performance bolt ons either. Like my Hella air horn fit perfectly. My Sparco hood pins and terry springs on the trunk had perfect mounting points and made installation a cinch. As if they knew you were goin to install them down the road. I love having the only boxer engine that doesnt have any history associated with the **** regime (F.A. Porsche designed turrets for German Panzers not to mention building Hitler's "PeopleCar")Dont get me started on BMW and Daimler.I guess its the same feeling RX7 owners get having an uncommon engine. I get into the car and immediately get into the mode. I am fully in tune with the car and its surroundings... All this while im pulling handbrakes at the first sign of a drizzle. Which brings me to the weather. I love my '91 EDM Nissan Primera eGT. I learned everything drivng that car on the hazardous, narrow streets, of Athens and its surrounding Coastal roads that are noted as amongst the most dangerous in Europe. Still I would never be able to flog it with as much confidence in the wet as I would in my RS Coupe. Handling is second to none and its been proven time and time again. I love that I can actually drive a car that in essence, is not a huge step from being its WRC incaranate. No other world of Motorsport, in my view, currently has its production models and Works Race cars be so similar. And thats what I love most about my impreza besides the obvious like pwning all the newb teenie boppers that think they can play with fire. Or scaring the **** out of pedestrians even while at a standstill....

i like frameless windows, like all honda's don't got 'em... when u open up the door and have the window down... eww just look at that thing

my 240 don't have 'em.. either

its sportier

---

about all the other guys that mention more respect... thats true.. and the lovely boxer sound

i only get hated on by evos and srt-4s.. eww to them (fart exhaust in their direction)

i don't hate on them but its the jackasses driving them that upset me, not the cars.... especially recently on I-80 near Richmond, CA I was just cruising at 65 and some evo wakes up my gf by shooting off his idiotic blow off valve and millions of stickers on his evo... ugly

i just cruise by, nothing fancy ^_^ (let him envy cause he ain't got no girl riding shotgun)

yeah, my friend's rsx has 'em and kinda drove me nuts cause... well for me it'd look better without those frames (especially if someone has lambo doors) but its just a style, some functionality too for better sealing... just one of those things like u said, love it or hate it

I love:

That I made a Forester quicker than a C5 Vette

That I can probably dust a Z28 w/groceries in my car

That I can chill in my cargo area w/my hatch up , even in the rain

That I have the Turboed 2.5L w/4.44 gearing and the small TD04 (that = QUICK acceleration w/no lag!)

That intoxicating boxer rumble

How we are some of the only people who can pull off the gold-wheel look properly

That although EVOs can stand head-to-head w/us, reliability issues will prevent them from still doing so 4 years from now.

Our 5-star crash ratings

The confidence our AWD systems inspire in the rain. I have FUN driving in downpours!

That i-club exists and that most other Subie owners are f*cking cool!

I really like the shape of my 05 RS hood. Those of you with this car know what I mean about the sylish lines on top that the scoop kinda ruins on the wrx.
