You'll find most places are either private property or inaccessible, either way a technical "No-No" anywhere in the Bay Area.

Yeah that's what I've been seeing, I've been driving around all over and everything is locked up and or has signed posted all over.
look for farming/construction trucks they need a large area to park and turn around. it's usually hard packed and smooth.
