I am considering purchasing the engine and chassis editions for future use (timing belt job, brakes, eventual motor tear-down).

Has anybody purchased any of the Subaru workshop books?

I've been wanting to get one also. I've looked for a Haynes Manual but I haven't found one yet for my car. Where would you find one of those manuals you're talking about?

I downloaded the 2004 version in pdf from techinfo.subaru.com $20 for the whole thing.

I don't have any particular need for it yet but its nice to know I have it.
