Antenna Problem on 04

Antenna Problem on 04
I just installed a JVC head unit on my 04 STi and plugged the antenna wire into the deck and everything works fine with the unit except I get nothing for reception on FM or AM. It's as though the antenna isn't even there. Could there be a loose antenna connection somewhere in the car? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The '04s have the antenna in the rear window glass and there is an amplifier for the antenna so it works properly. When you install a radio the power antenna wire in the harness must be connected to power the amplilfier so it works. If you used a standard harness adapter it should be the blue/white wire in the harness.
