all wheel drive burn out
If you mean the track-day burnouts that you see at drag racing competitions and other car events, those are done with one set of wheels locked by the emergency brake -- so clearly an AWD car can't do that type of burnout, unless you plan on disabling one axle.
If you mean burning out all four wheels as you leave a stoplight, you must take into account that the WRX is totally engineered to AVOID losing traction in that manner, and the limited-slip differentials purposely transfer power to keep wheels from slipping. If you modified the car to put out 300+ HP and put some racing slicks on the car, you might be able to get smoke from all four for at least a few seconds before parts of your drivetrain explode.

i use to do them in my rwd car by popping the clutch and keeping my right foot on the gas id use my left foot to slam on the brakes. my rx7 would sit there until either released the break or i eased off the throttle.

Bad idea. Burnout or light up all 4 in a launch? I do not reccomend this!, but since you want to know. My buddy revved the car to like 5500 RPM on a wet surface, slip the clutch and watch em burn. It feels f'ed up if your in the car, and looks f'ed up if your outside the car. A hard launch with the front 2 spinning a lil looks alot better. If you wanna do a burnout, go spend 500 bucks on an old school g-body. They will do burnouts forever.

Yeah, with 2wd cars they are bad...with AWD 1) its very hard to do 2) if you have enough power to do that then it might be slightly faster than slipping the clutch...
If you do them in the burnout box that allows the tires to heat up and become more sticky. Good for high horsepower rwd or fwd, not needed for most awd (does Easy Street do burnouts befor a run?).
