Better yet, put your car in reverse and get it going at about 20 mph, then jam it into first, rev it up to the rev limiter and drop the clutch. Guaranteed burnout.

Don't do burnout in a WRX m'kay?
My friend had a brand new 2003 wrx and he was trying to show off so he did a awd burnout when it was dry out, well his car is just sitting in his driveway cause he doesn't have the money for a new diff. and new syncros(he lost first gear).
I find it too easy to burnout.. especially when I'm turning/launching. sometimes if I slip it too much just taking off normally but turning, all my tires will spin. I usually react and let off the gas but if I stay on it'll basically spin around in circles.
I have squeezed a lil more hp out'v my car though. also I've changed out my wheels for some 14lb volks and I think my tread is getting low

burn outs are done on RWD muscle cars with slicks in the rear because they need traction or they cant run good times and to have traction they need to warm up their slicks by smoking em up real good to get em hot n sticky n ready to launch
AWD.. no need for burnout, its already made its point and that is pure traction. limited slip differentials.. which old skool muscle cars that do burnouts do not have, are wat the impreza AWD has. appreciate it. its why WRX's hit 0-60 in 5 seconds stock.

Well, since everyone wants to tell you not to do it, even though you didn't ask if you should or shouldn't. Rev the engine up to about 5,000 rpm and pop the clutch into 1st gear. You will end up chirping the wheels, you can't really do a burn out unless the roads are wet or slippery because you need less traction. Practice in the snow because it won't really do any damage to the valuable parts.
