30k mile service

So I was checking my manual to see what the 30k service is all about. Basically, I have to do an oil change, rear diff fluid change, coolant change, fuel filter change, and inspect a bunch of stuff. I can do pretty much all of this stuff, but I have some questions.
How do I change the fuel filter?
How do I change the rear diff fluid?
I ask because I can do all of this in my driveway and save the $400 bucks the dealer wants me to pay them to do it.

I always kinda wonder if the dealer's mechanic really does check all the fluids and everything he's supposed to check.
