Have you read anything about this current model hitting US? I'm having hard time accepting how it looks.

I have always been partial to Alfa's. I don't really know why, but I have.

 

do u guys remember when the Evolution 8's came out? surely it was the ugliest thing EVER because of that stupid triangle in the middle, but now people dont seem to mind as much, because it still is an evo, and for me i would still get the evo regardless of the grille design. as for the wrx sti, i think it'll grow on me and i can learn to dig it. can YOU dig it?

Try this on for size .. what if the '04 STi in fact had come out with that body styling? would you have said the same thing? i know its interesting when we look at this design having had the current model and say Hmm.. WEIRD.. lol

Anyway.. I don't like it. It's wierd lookin. I'll keep my 04 until the 2013 comes out.

they cant though, the thing with car companies now is that they want to make a trademark design thing going on. u can see all the new mazda's have similiar grilles, the nissans are doing the same thing, bmw has been doing it for a while, and now subaru will make their own distinguished grille. you can see in the new SUV they are doing..that the grille will look like taht ugly pos grille on the new STi, so ...no matter how hard u heop, the grille will stay on, just like the Evo's and mitsubushi, they are keeping it. i know it sucks like hell but...thats life =(
