I feel like S**t knowing that I bought an 05 just to see a new model come out, but I guess one thing to look forward to is that I can have mods available to me while the people who buy an 06 would have to wait a good while before they can get any.
WRX781,

Congrats on the purchase of the '05.

What if the 2006 is changed so much where you no longer like the car (i.e. looks, performance, etc.), you waited to purchase the '06 model and lets say other people felt the same way as you and all the un used '05s get snatched up?

IMHO enjoy your '05. If the '06 is better for whatever reason, save your money and maybe get an '07 or '08.

Photoshop.

The driver looks extremely fake, not to mention a lot of the body pieces don't reflect light properly.

I read the article a month ago, when it first appeared. Just because it is in a magazine doesn't make it real.

The photos are all horribly photoshopped. It may be a good representation of what the new design will probably look like, but it isn't the actual production car.
