2005 subaru impreza rs pro/vtd???
Does anyone know what an RS Pro is? I searched on Carfax and it came up with this. I am looking at a WRX for sale, but the Carfax report says 2005 SUBARU IMPREZA RS PRO/VTD?
Does that mean it is an RS with a WRX engine?
Confused...
Thoughts? Anyone?

could have been a chasis from a prodrive bugeye shipped over and refurbished into a 05?? i have no idea...
either that car is something special, good or bad?, or carfax is on crack

Having owned an 05 Manual RS Sport, the PRO part is for "sport package" which includes the same suspension as the wrx and interior/exterior trim and bits.
The VTD (Variable Torque Distribution) came on the auto models only.

took a look at it in person. looked like a wrx, like interior and pedals because its a RS PRO which is a WRX without the engine.
apparantly the guy didnt know it wasnt a WRX... since thats what the owner told him before him :/
i didnt want to spend $35 on carfax but i did the free preview and low and behold, the VIN was clearly not a "WRX" when in fact a "RS PRO"
