Car Info: dream car Subaru STi
yes i asked about the STi, the WRX was only 26,000 totally paid in full, the STi would be $34,000 totally, basically my grandparents gave me $20,000 so i had to pay the rest off myself. i would love to have n STi but im only 20 i dont feel like i deserve it yet, i could ask for more money but i feel guilty. i didnt work for it so i dont want to be THAT spoiled compared to my other friends. im happy with my WRX, its very worth it for $26,000 the STi is also very worth it for $34,000 totally. tax included. its best to pay everything totally out the door cash, straight up, financing is never good, u end up paying more at the end. and other things u guys would kno.

I just got quoted 24,400 OTD (in NJ, that figure includes 6% tax and destination) with 3.9% finance over 5 years on an 04 WRX with the spoiler and the somewhat unwanted extended armrest.
i figure this is a good number any thoughts ?
I'm also being quoted 1200 for the 5/100,000 warranty , i'll be driving 15-20k a year. Any thoughts on whether the warranty is worth it ??
Thanks
Tony

I have an 04 WRX and did NOT get the warranty for two reasons:
1) Warranties are there so the dealerships can make money. The WRX is a very well-made car and shouldn't have a problem if you treat it well. Now if you were buying a Hyundai, KIA, etc.....
2) I planned to do some mods. Do you plan to do any serious modifications? If so, your $1200 warranty may not be valid if there is a problem.
Just my 2 cents.
