2.5rs vs. WRX

I am torn between a wrx and a 2.5rs. I am getting a car in the near future before I go to grad school. I am wondering how easy it is to find parts for a 2.5rs, I would assume that most of the impreza parts work on the wrx and the 2.5. Also how expensive, and involved, is adding a turbo to the EJ25? I am not sure if this is the right forum but what the heck. If anyone can give me any insight it would be great.

Okay,
The 2.5RS is a fine car. It has respectable power, AWD, and good build quality. I would recommend this car to many people.
However,
If you want speed...get the WRX!
By the time you put a turbo on an engine that's not designed for it (compression ratios and cams being the two biggest) you will have spent WAY more than the price increase for a WRX.

I think initially youll be happy with the 2.5 but after a few months your gonna be longing for power. Instead of going through and painstakingly upgrading, why not just go for the wrx? If you can afford either I would recomend the wrx. You are still going to want to upgrade it. But at least you'll be upgrading to compare your wrx to the sti or better instead of trying to get your 2.5 up to speed with the wrx.

i have a new age RS and i have to say i love it. There are some drawbacks such as weight and lack of hoodscoop but those are minor things. Now it depends on what you use this car for. Daily driving than the RS is good its got great low end power and clean ride. But its your choice take both out for test drives and things of that type
