1/4 time
hey ive been looking thru alot of different magazines because my friend said that his S2000 could beat my WRX stock. most of the magazines are pretty accurate with the S2000 times.(14.2) but for some reason they cant get one for the WRX. ive seen 14.1, 14.4, and 14.6 from 3 different magazines. anyone got a clue what the real times are for both cars??

You're talking about time differences on the WRX of less than half a second. This could easily be accounted for by driving styles or track conditions. If those are real numbers as you've stated, I'd say it's safe to say they're pretty evenly matched in a 1/4 and you should find something better to argue about with your friend. =P I wouldn't want an S2000 over a WRX, myself, but they're both very nice cars.

i know its close, but i just want an accurate time for future references. i first saw the time 14.1 by car and driver magazine, then i was reading the article in this months issue about the M2 WRX and i was saying that it ran 14.6. how could the WRX be slower if its the same car?? i understand driving styles and all the jibber jabber, but its still doesnt make sense to me.

Oh, right, I see the article (http://www.caranddriver.com/xp/Caran...tyfile_wrx.xml) . You'll never get a definitive time (unless Subaru states one, in which case go with that), I'd suggest finding the times from as many reputable magazines as possible, and take an average of what they say after throwing out the best and worst time.
