the '94 twin turbo rx-7 is mad sexy, but like everyone said, it's really hard to maintain. not that rotaries are unreliable but because it's turboed. i think saving up your money now to get the sti will be a lot better in the long run. those turboed rx-7's are NOT known to last past 80k.
haha and unlike my name suggests, i'm not biased. i love rotaries (especially the soon to be released rx-8).

My response in regard to the NSX item fact made no sense, which explains why you didn't get it.

I have to disagree. I agree the STi is a truely great car. There is one car that is better in this category though. The Skyline GTR. More advanced 4WD system that vary torque split from 0:100 to 50:50. Quite a bit more powerful engine. The problem is it does cost a lot more then the STi.

^^ And the GTR isn't available here in the good ol US of A, yet.
Yeah you can buy a grey market used RHD import, but those don't count. I'd love to have a GTR though and without a doubt I'd jump on that over the STi if it were available here in the states.
But it looks like when it does come via the Infinit brand it'll cost over $80K which is more than I want to spend.

You are right, the grey market GTR doesn't count as they are really a super pain in the butt to own in the good old US of A. How do I know? Because I own one right now
That is why I am going to buy a STi to ease my pain and frustration.
I actually have a little insider infos about the next generation GTR that will be for sale offically in the USA in a few years. Price will be from $50K~$60K. It will be under the Infiniti brand. It won't be here for few more years, so start saving up now. I know I am

Funny,
A girl friend of mine has a father who has a 79 and a 97 RX-7.
The first and last year I think. He collects cars or something.
When he saw me pull up in my modded Prelude, we conversed and told him I was getting a STi and after some more talking he himself is considering maybe buying one after he rides in mine.
I would get the STi, just be patient. I'm sure your spot on the list should jump up.
