i do
#1 at my dealer.
MSRP or maybe a smidge less.
i am hoping for white or blue, and maybe silver.
no options whatsoever (icluding the wing if i can help it).

When I went to the Irvine Dealership last week (1/10/02) the guy told me that he could not take deposits. He also said that they had to send back the one he had already taken. Supposedly all the Subaru's in the nation have to do this. Is this guy feeding me or what?

not sure. my dealer took my check, sent the copy of it in, but did not deposit the check. regardless, i am #1 on the list. i give them a ton of business, and that helps in these situations.
it seems he is giving you a line, but many dealers might be taking checks and making their own list regardless of what SOA says.
