You won't save much weight with a CF hood. The aluminum OEM one is very light. Same with the trunk lid, which I believe is also aluminium. You'll still need to clear coat them. The gel coat that some of the better ones come with is not meant to be left in the elements.

Black on black looks hot, but that hood scoop looks sorta silly. Too boy racer. I know it's functional, but there's got to be a better way...
As an owner of a black car (my first, and soon to be my last black car), I feel obliged to warn: once you get it out of the showroom, it's a horror to maintain. Nothing shows dirt or damage better than black.
