Stupid Pet Tricks (aka amateur owners)

Has anyone's dealer contacted them to "school" them in the STi's foibles? Basically, a two page handout detailing all the stuff we talk about here... Hood/Wing Flex, DCCD stuff, etc. I was almost insulted, but I think to myself - half the STi buyer never had a "hi po" car, and complain when it does not act like the Cavalier they had before.

Anyone else think similar thoughts?

Car Info: WRX STi black/Gold rims

i thinks its ok to get one,When i got the STi i had no clue what the DCCD was, that paper would have helped .i have a 97 camaro SS and a 99 C5 and thay are not the same as a STI so it would be ok if my dealer gave me a hand out!

Gotta ask the question... Why did you select the the STi - it is a big difference from RWD GM muscle... (I am not one to point and laugh though - 95 GT was my baby b4 the WRX and STi)

back in 98 i got a 98 2.5rs Black with gold rims"the best car i have ever had"sold it and got a ss .Told my self if Subaru comes out with a sti to usa I would be the 1st to have one!!Also i work at a automotive shop and have to say that i think subarus last a long time.o yeah and its 4 door and faster then my SS!!!

After modding the mustang, I found it horrible in anything but a nice day and 1+Passenger. Hence the WRX. Liked it so but I bought the STi cause a stock WRX was more fun than the stang and the STI is a whole nother class!
