STI vs EVO
I am new to this forum, jus want to express my comments and ask for opnions:
First of all, from reading the forums i get the idea alot of people here dislike the evos. But i guess this is a subaru site therefore such response. Though i like both STI and EVO and would actually want to own both of them so i dun have to pick one, from going to check out the evo dealership, i was very disappointed at the interior of the car. sitting inside u jus feel as if u are in a lancer sedan. But anywaz, here is my main point, from what i learned performance wise, the STI is not going to be tuned down at all, but for the EVO, they had to tune down and took out all the goody electronic things, AYC... and that's a great disappointment.
So i am left to the choice of waiting and waiting and waiting.. and probably have to pay msrp or more for a WRX STI, that god knows when will arrive, or import a (scarce in the States) Evo 7 where for the most part will not have someone drving the same car as i am. So, what do you guys think, plz help me out.

I see no need to go through importing a car that is 90% already here in the Evo8. If the popularity of these cars continues, you'll see all the gadgets on the Evo in a year or two.
I'm sure you could do a search or visit the Mitsu sites and find a lot of info comparing both. I did sit in the new Evo at the dealership and was also disappointed in the interior. Coming from my WRX, the guages seemed especially small or something too. The seats were comparable, if not a bit more snug. The dash also didn't impress in layout or quality, but most would say the same for the Impreza (I'm happy with it). The exterior is subjective, but most would likely agree the Evo has a bit more edginess (literally, even), but they are comparable and attractive in their own ways. Evo has sunroof option, STi doesn't (if I recall) so perhaps that's an issue for some. Not a big deal.
Wait until the insanity dies down and drive them both, read the reviews. There is still a lot to be uncovered before an overall winner can be declared.
