STi specs i couldn't find.....
1. What kind of boost will it run from the factory?
2. What kind of curb weight?
3. Is the chasis any stiffer than last year?
4. Will HID be standard?
5. What percent of power can be sent to the front, 65?
6. How well does everyone think these new motors are built compared to last year japanese model?
7. What kind of power with intake and exhaust and boost ^?
8. Is the block the same as last year?
9. Is the tranny the same as last year?
10. What kind of times does everyone think they will do?
I currently have a camaro, but my father bought it for me, I wanted a WRX badly and settled cause of how fast the camaro is. I am tired of driving a shaky, ruff, and just unfun car. So I am thinking about an STi but can't drive one, and i am worried about this being a new motor and having problems, as well as next years being alot better and me losing money.
11. Does everyone think a more powerful prodrive model will come out?
12. What price on that do y'all think?
Please respond and try to answer as many questions as possible it would be a big help.

I'm not gonna claim i'm an expert, but i'll tell you what i've found.
4. Yes, they'll be standard.
5. Normally i believe it's 50/50 power distribution and it goes as far as 35front/65rear. I don't think you can give more than 50% power to the front. Not sure why you'd want too either.
10. My guesses would be 0-60 in 4.6 and 1/4 in high 12's low 13's, although it's not really meant to go straight.
Sorry, but that's about all i can answer.

I thought that the block was the same, it just had a different crank? Have I missunderstood what I have read?

The block is semi-closed compared to open on the current WRX.
Forged aluminum alloy pistons and forged high-carbon steel connecting rods. Also has soduim-filled exhaust valves with
AVCS (active valve control system).
