Is the STi a "New" Model?
Does anybody know how much time the STi has been on the road in other markets? I always refrain from buying a "first year car" but if the STi has been in other markets for a year or two and is being imported then I would feel much more comfortable that the North American version has the bugs worked out (Assuming their aren't any major mechanical changes....2.5 possibly?)
Also does anybody know for sure if the STi logos are Pink?

The Sti Impreza car line has been employed since the early 1990s with this current Sti being the 8th generation. But, this is the biggest engine installed in an Sti car since the 2.2l engine in the 22B.
Go to this site for some info. You'll have to sorta guess around if you are not familiar with the Japanese language. IIRC, they had a nice timeline of Stis showing where they started and how they evolved.

edit--- Yes, the Sti logos are usually pink. At first I thought it was some sort of funky looking light red or neon color..
Hopefully, this helps some.
