STi mud flaps / guards

has anyone or is anyone thinking about fitting the STi mud flaps onto their car?
personally i think they look rather awesome and I'd like to have a set fitted on mine. the main reason of having them fitted is to stop the gravel flying off your tyres and chipping your wings and doors.
does anyone have any idea about cost?

I installed the "rally" flaps on my java black STi a week ago. They are black with "STi" and "Subaru Tecnica International" in white lettering on them. The mudflaps are REALLY, REALLY nice. They are also VERY expensive. I was shopping them and came up with prices from $378 all the way up to $525 for all four wheels. I ordered them approx. 1month before my STi was due to arrive, and never rec'd them. After calling the vendor I found out they are no longer being made, and are only available in red or blue (stock still in inventory, apparently). After many hours of "Googling" I managed to find a set of four in black and ordered and installed them. They are a major PITA to install, but look great and I no longer have dirt all over the sides of my ride. Sorry, no pics yet, but I'm working on it.
Hey Uncle SI - as I said in my post I saw prices from $378 to $525. Obviously I ordered from a $378 vendor - but no luck. I know that the fllg Internet vendors had them:
Sigma Automotive
Japan Parts
Rallispec
But from what I recall they only had red or blue when I checked. I ended up ordering them from Graham Goode Racing in the UK. I got my receipt yesterday and shipped they were around $600. It's an obscene amount for flaps, I know, but my STi is black, and I love it, and I have a gravel driveway....so I got them. I don't know if Graham Goode has any black ones left but that was the ONLY place I was able to procure them. I did an extensive check for any other flaps that would work, and aside from making my own (which I considered, but passed, as I wanted a more "finished" look to them) there is nothing out there. And FWIW if there was ever a set of four mudflaps that are WORTH $600 these are them. They offer very comprehensive coverage and are bullet-proof in their build quality. Best of luck....and please nobody flame me b/c of the $ I laid out.....and I DON'T HAVE ANY PICS YET BUT AM WORKING ON IT! Oh yeah - from the rear these flaps make the car look very "squatty" - I've gotten several compliments in the week they've been on. Hope this helps Uncle SI.
