hey guys, im a new member and im obssessed with the new wrx sti that will be coming soon because my younger brother has a 2003 wrx and i want the sti because im the big brother =), anyways i wanted to know if there is going to be 2005 and 2006 stis? because i dont think i can buy a subaru till then.. experts please let me know.. thanks guys

ok sorri if i keep asking its just that im afraid =( that wen i get to buy a car i wont get to chose a sti.. cause i cant buy a car till 2005, im afraid ok.. you know how the type R stopped selling at 2002.

No worries. The STi has been selling in Japan for a long time. It's like the Mustang Cobra. They've been selling and will keep selling them. As long as people buy the 4000/5000 a year they're making they'll keep selling them.
And by the time you're ready to buy they'll be on the second version of USDM STi so it'll probably be even better.
So don't worry, be patient, and have fun in three years!

hey u mean the second version as in 2005? hehehe cause thats wen i get to buy my own car. and i really want the sti so bad, im so obssessed about it im retarded.

Nope, Evo VIII is the last incarnation of the (4-door) sedan design worldwide........common knowledge in Europe, but maybe not in the US ??
Rumour has it that the next Evo may be based off the 2004 Colt (hatchback, I think, like the Ford Focus) and possibly equipped with a 6-speed clutchless sequential gearbox (like the BMW SMG).
That should up the ante for Subaru.
