I've had a down payment at a dealer since Feb '03. The salesman has not contacted me about wheels, body color or anything. I have to intiate contact, he assures me that my order will be processed.

My concerns are:
1. Did I pick the wrong dealer (other dealers in the area show '04 WRX in stock-this dealer has yet to see his first)
2. I am alleged to have the #2 order at this dealer, the salesman showed me a Subaru confirmation for the #1 order expected in June. (the #1 guy has already been allowed to choose colors, add'l options, etc).

I'm getting concerned especially with reports of dealers receiving "stock STi" units.

What do you think?

BTW, I'm a Subie Newbie, but work for one of the major auto companies and just hate not being able to punch in an order number and determine the status of my order!
