Huh, i'm trying to make sense of this, but what are you talking about? I'm not really sure you understand completely what the STi is all about.

All I can say is that the new 3-spoke Steering Wheel is so much nicer for performance driving then the old 4-spoke WRX one.

Its just a matter of opinion on interior looks. IMO, the EVO don't look any better than the STi. The STi transmission is pretty nice and it does have short throw. You don't necessarily need a short shift rod to achieve short throws, the transmission internal design plays a role also.

You are saying the steering wheel is the downfall of the STi? So another words, you are basing your decision on a MOMO steering wheel and a short shifter? You could always paint "MOMO" smack dack in da center of de steerin wheal and hack da shifter!
