Maybe this will give you some insight on the subject...

Flexing doesn't mean it's bad, I got this STi book from Japan, it's about 150 pages, it explains everything you want to know about the STi from day one to the latest model. You'd be amaze how much effort they put in just to make the spoiler for the STi.
PS. Fuji Heavy Industry is the biggest contractor for Japan's space exploration, imagine how many wind tunnels they used to test the STi wing, I'll give you a hint, 1, 4, 9, 28, 35. =)

i agree they test all that stuff....infact the wing bending and flexing could actually be helpful. a lot of wings on planes flex and such for better lift.....of course the opposite would hopefully be true for the STi. also the wing bending and flex could be showing you just how much down force it is putting on the back end. if the wing flexs down in the middle think of how much force that is putting to the ground. i would not worry about the wing. the hood scoop...damn!! if that didn't shake i would be worried! ITS HUGE!!! what do you expect to happen when you are going 100 and you have that gigantic cave on the front of your car. thats a lot of force....and a lot of drag
but i am sure the extra hp more than makes up for it, until wait at the top end.
