remember to boycott dealers charging over msrp

Now that the Sti's are here, remember to boycott any dealer that is charging over msrp! There is strength in numbers. I alreadly know I will back completely away and go some where else if my dealer does that to me. Hopefully they won't violate the trust they have gained.

All dealership are privately owned. No such thing as and offical subaru dealership. any dealship can decide to over charge if they want. If no one pays for it however, it will come down.

The problem is...

...if the STI is sold at MSRP everywhere, I bet more than 50% of those who planned on getting a WRX would like to get the STI instead.

But then there's just limited quantity for the STI. Now there will definitely be people who are willing to pay more for it.

Markups are evil. No doubt about that. But always remember there's a cause-effect system going on. I am sure the dealers don't markup the MSRP just because they are greedy, but because they know there are people who are willing to pay.

What can you say? It's good to be rich.
