just ordered a sti.
hello, i just ordered a sti last week, and they told me there is a long waiting list like 3-6 months. but in the mean time i was wondering what is a good site for performance parts? also is it true the sti doesnt have a stereo? is there any speakers?

It is true no radio.
No there are no speakers either.
There are factory openings for speakers in the front and rear doors.
There are also openings on the front door for separate tweeters.
The radio opening in the dash is a double din size, any WRX stereo should fit.
As of yet there are no performance parts exclusivley for the STI, however reading some recent threads it appears that the
wrx downpipe should work.
I expect there will be numerous sources for performance parts as soon as someone comes out with an ECU upgrade system.
Lastly, You will love the black/gold combination.

hahaha today is a great day, i got mad at the dealer i was going to even though they were giving it at msrp cause they look down on me cause i am only 20 so i went to another dealer (ron price) the guy i talked to was real nice to me, and he had 1 in stock, but i am ordering 4 stis so i stil have to wait. but at least its september and not next year febuary. oh if any one wants to know i got 1 in every color.

I bought my WRX at first allocation through Ron Price also, and when i went down there earlier in the year Charles told me that they'll be marking up 5k, so much for trying to get some repeat customers, motards.
