I'm I getting F'ed??
So, I call my sales rep because I haven't heard from him in awhile.. I am first on the list and put down 500 to reserve an ST-i..
ME: I haven't heard from you in awhile I just wanted to know if you heard anything new on the ST-I.
HIM(in an inpatient attitude): Well I don't know I haven't heard anything. I told you, you would be the first one to know if I heard anything.
ME: Official from Subaru’s web site says MSRP 30,995 and it comes out soon!
HIM: I don't know I’ll have to speak with my manager, I haven't heard anything. The rep said end of July.
ME: I heard it was coming out soon like in the next month.
HIM: Well I don't know what to tell you, you will be the first one to know.
I feel like I’m getting ***ed here.. Is anyone else's dealer seem this stupid or in the dark still? I just have a bad feeling now like he's going to sell one to some rich dude first before me. Either way he's going to get his money!! I'm so pissed I want to choke that old ba$tard till his slowly passes away.

Relax. Most dealers still know very little. I know it's hard to be patient but we all must resist calling our dealers every other day. However, I will say your guy does have an attitude problem and he shouldn't be treating you this way. It doesn't make for a happy car buying experience. I'd call the manager and talk to him about the salesperson's cranky attitude.

I'll second that. Don't expect too much from your salesman. He's being pulled 8 different ways and is probably still in the dark. Also remember, you're a done deal. He's interested in fresh blood, not taking calls from someone impatient. The car will come. I recommend getting on his good side and sweet talking him. He promised. You'll get a car. I understand how excited we can all get about this stuff, but it will all come out better if you throttle waaaay back and chill a bit.
Frankly, I have given up on salesmen. I just deal with the general sales manager. Be cool, not cocky and accept no other service except from the sales manager.

I third the "chill" advice. Nearly every salesman I have ever spoken with about any performance car hardly knew anything about it, particularly when they would ship, when they would arrive on the lot, what pricing would be, performance numbers, etc. I don't think your salesman is "f-ing" you, I think he is just ignorant.

Remember that you arent the only one calling every day.. People are calling who arent ever gonna get an STI.. Look at the magaizines now... every single one has a huge article about the STI and EVO,,, even USA today about them...The dealers are like just shut up about these calls... and Subaru please give us inventory before we go mad.... also btw if you are paying MSRP for the car.. with only $2,500 bucks profit the dealer isnt gonna kiss your a$$, huge demand cars usually make dealers much more than that.

I was thinking about getting an evo or a 350z. The 350 is so hot in that blue. Girls love the 350z!!
I saw an evo in person the other day. It was better in person than in the pictures. I don't wanna get a mits, cause there are too many around here. There is not a lot of people that rock the subbies around here.

Treat the Salesperson with respect and consideration and you will receive the same in return. Act like your the only one in the world that wants this car or like a spoiled brat screaming now!!!!
and do you expect the salesperson to put up with what your parents did SORRY NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!
Fuji Indrusties acts like all Japanesse companies and releases very little to the American Dealers let alone the public. Nissan, Honda Toyota never publish any info before release date, they want the competition to know very little, wow what a suprise companies in competetion not wanting to devulge info!!

Dealer told me June 20th give or take a few days!
I passed the credit check before when i put the down payment on, but i guess i gotta pass it again? I'm all worried now.. I just hope they don't tack on options i don't want and i can't end up affording it in the end...
