Around 10:30am on Rt123. I called my Dealer in Alexandria asking WTF..where was mine!!?? (check was had been sent to them montrhs ago and cashed). He assured me that mine is the 1st of the 2 that they will get in the 1st shipment due around the 2nd week of May. He also said, if it was a new STi (which it was) it was probably a dealer's car.

do some regions get cars in faster? Salespeople in Virginia are saying their orders will be filled by the middle of May, but here in the Southeast, dealers have no idea when (and are projecting July)..

I know it's all about supply and demand, but around my area, there's a great deal of WRX sales.. hmm.. interesting.. either way.. it's well worth the wait..

 

I get the feeling nobody really knows anything
Some dealers wear swearing the STi was going to cost a lot more than it wound up being. On the other hand it only makes sense that there will be a few days of difference due to shipping, I wouldn't expect it to be weeks or months. Subaru Placed an official press embargo on until may 1st. The press have the cars and are testing them, but they are not allowed to talk about it or print anything about it until May 1st. I expect we will all know a lot more then.
