$34k - $38k ...........Thats waaaaay too much for a Subaru. They're hitting the Entry Level Luxury department there. You can get a nice 2002 330i with that price. The Insurance will probably be higher on the STi. IF I had to choose between the two man it be a tough one.

Can you try reposting an actual http://... link so it works. I tried many variations of the above and cant find a real page at all.
Thanks.
Ok, here are the actual links:

and
Cant figure out the second for the life of me. The first is a PDF of some of the MY2004 STI Specs, pretty handy.
Thanks.

Show me a BMW for $35k with AWD, DCCD, 6sp, Brembo brakes, and a turbocharged engine with 300hp/300tq that is highly tuneable.

GT coupe $25,500 convertible $29,000
I saw a true blue 2002 GT coupe for $19,995 at Paul Miller Ford in Lexington, KY Sunday, Jan 19th, 2003.
The Cobra and STI are in different categories to me. Cobra is cheap power that can be made to handle fairly well, but it is more of a quarter mile machine. The STI is a rally and road racer. Not meant so much for launching as taking curves and inclement weather and traction problems. For an every day driver, the STI still would be my preference. When it rains, it is hard for 400rwhp on a Cobra to do too much good. If you like the new chassis and body on the 05 mustang, I hear they are going to be putting in a 3 valve per cylinder 4.6L V8 in the GT and the 3 valve per cylinder 5.4L V8 in the cobra then. The F-150 pickups are changing over to the 3valve per cylinder V8's as well. The lightning will hopefully get the 3 valve 5.4 soon too. Decisions, decisions...

Price Questions & availability
My name is Christian Salazar, and i am With Jack Miller Subaru in Olathe, KS. And 34-38k sounds high to me, i have 3 already sold, and all it takes is $500 deposit to get one. And the other thing is that right now Subaru is only making 300 ST-i 's for sale. All the dealerships are trying for 300 more, but the problem is there is only 500 6-speed transmissions. This is truth, right from my Subaru regional sales meeting at the Marriot in Overland Park, KS. To contact me directly, to get an ST-i (Sticker price, and no more), or one of my 27 WRX's on hand for $100 over invoice <---(WRX ONLY), call me at 913-515-1371 Christian, or the dealerships sales manager Matt Maguire, at 816-506-5865, thanks.
