i know this is canada STi but i was wondering if we had heated seats??

I just came from seeing the STI's at Mississauga Subaru and they had a heated drivers seat.

 

If they are available in Canada, they will come to America because people will keep asking for them. I wouldn't be surprised if this was an option come 2005. But once they have it somewhere else as a dealer option, you will be able to transfer it to you car. So if you get your 2004 STi in U.S. 6 months on e-bay you will be able to get your heated seat.

 

Seat is heated when you're going a 100 and see flashing blue and red in the rear-view mirror.

 

DUDES!!! WTF do you think they included heated seats in the canadian version? Because we need them up here! It's been 7 long months and we are STILL in winter!! I'm sick of it. Sometimes I wonder why the hell some of you are spending so much dough on a car with a AWD living in Florida?

 

Heated seats are easy in a Subie.

No, I do not have a WRX but I DID TEST DRIVE IT in a ice/snowstorm on purpose. I walked into the dealership and they knew what I was there for. 7" of snow on the ground covered in thick ice crust. It was bad road conditions, cars were in the ditch everywhere....

Thanks, man... Uhmm, I'm currently scheduled to get mine in mid summer, end of June or end of July. I ordered Silver but I'm waiting to see how much Subaru of Canada wants to gouge. If it's more than the US price they can keep it. Also, I live in Toronto and the media has portrayed Toronto as SARS infested so business has stalled to nothing which = no money. I depend on US customers but they stopped coming so I might have to delay my purchase. We'll have to see how the SARS thing goes...

 

Sheesh, that sux about the SARS thing.. You should move to the US. and deal with Bush like the rest of us.. But having played ice hockey and skied my entire life, I am a little partial to Canada myelf If all goes well, I will probably be taking the ReX up to Whistler next year.

Like yourself, I also have had plenty of tickets, and an accident @ around 100 mph in a TTZ, so I wasnt going for the STi. I bought black '03 WRX a couple of weeks ago and have only had it in rain, never have had to take it in the snow yet, but in the rain rides, like "it is on rails". I have 17's and summer tires, so I am kinda nervous about taking it in the snow. But I will get some nice winter tires probably on stock rims, so your story helps ease my anxiety alot. Spinning out of control and crashing into a brick wall @ 100mph, putting down over 100' of skid marks going uphill, because of a invisible pencil thin stream of water, in a RWD vehicle has got me nervous for life...

no i dont live in flordia..i live in california =) but i need heated seats to keep me warm when i camp out in the car the first day i get it=)
