Did you trade in or sell your old car privately?

What did you do with your other cars before the STi? I have to wait until I sell my car before picking up my STi. Dealer offered me hardly anything and I can't afford to buy this car unless I get a fair sale for my 98 Mustang GT. So far I have had not one single phone call about it. What did you people do?

I sold my 98 Eclipse GS-T privately. I listed it on the DSMTrader.com and within 2 weeks, it was sold! The guy was about 240 miles away and had the car paid for, sight un-seen. He came with a certified check and drove it away. Advertise it anywhere you possibly can. Good luck.

Sold my Integra at KBB high-end on autotrader.com within a month. Person also came with a certified check in hand.

sold mine personally, dealers dont give you anything for your car. it is just a conveniance type thing.

Sold the WRX and still trying to sell the Mustang - Got 2k more by doing person to person for the WRX .

Since the mustang is so modified, the dealer wanted to offer 5k for a car with 20k in mods that wins shows!
