I like that replacement grille insert...though I would probably remove the splitter in the middle.

The kit makes the STi look like a '90's Holden 'Commodore' (Australia) market, which was a beast unto its own.

Body Kit

Isnt the front lip a little low? Eh...maybe its just me since I drive a truck right now with over a foot of clearance. But I can't help but picture the lip shattering when the car takes a dip in the road too fast or hits a speed bump. I do like the center grill, minus the splitter as well.

awesome body kit! But does it fit 2004 STi, really? Is it easy to install and remove for winter or does it need proffessional installation?

That's exactly what the front of the Evo 8 reminds me of... a Holden Commodore.

Yeah, the US EVO (EVO 8) is the spitting image of a love child between a US market Pontiac 'Sunbird' and the current '03 Holden 'Commodore'.

Meanwhile, tonight I parked next to a brand new sticker still in the window with temp. plates '04 WRX sedan in 'Electric Blue'.
I caught myself drooling.
The new hood scoop is pretty cool looking. I tried to imagine the STi's being twice as tall...hmm?

The '04 Impreza front end reminds me of thosee turn of the century 'Auto Union' racers (predecessor to AUDI) mixed with a bit of pre-war German locomotive design. Strong, defiant and unconventionally handsome industrial design. Kind of like a Braun electric shaver on wheels....from Japan.
