has anyone found a car cover for the new STi?

This is a nice one made by Ultraguard. Yes, I know it's pricey, but it supposed to be one of the best for all outside conditions and will not scratch up the paint with a special soft liner inside. As you can see, they have it available exclusively for the STi already.

it's not the cloth that will scratch the car, it's the grit that gets inside the cloth that will do it. no matter what material you use, if dust or dirt gets into the under-surface of the cloth, then it can scratch the paint work when you take and take of the cover.

I was tempted to use a specially made STi shaped one several months back. the material is good but very expensive!

The link I posted should take your straight to the STi car cover. If you look over to the right in the selection box it should say "Fits the STi Sedan Equipped with a High Spoiler" for $249.95. If the link didn't take you there, make sure you click:

1. "Car Covers" (to the left on the AutoAnything.com homepage)
2. "Ultraguard™ Custom Car Cover "
3. choose "2004, Subaru, WRX" on the drop down menu and click "GO"

It should take you straight to the STi car cover. However, if you chose "2004, Subaru, Impreza" it will NOT take you to the STi version.
