There was a huge thread about the G35 coupe vs. STi awhile back. It pretty much boiled down to the G35 guys wanting a car with more sex appeal, vs. the younger guys who know they dont need a car to get girls and wanted a less sexy, more boy racer, road going monster. Depends on what you value, styling, luxery, refined interior, good RWD power etc, vs. rough around the edges no holds barred rally bred AWD 4 banger that'll smoke just about anything in a straight line or in the twisties. Both are fast, good handling, cool cars, but have totally different characters.

Personally, I'm not totally sure which I'd choose. I'm a little partial towards the STi, but at the same time, the thought of a G35 coupe 6-speed with a couple turbos wheezing (aftermarket ;-p) into the VQ35DE it shares with the 350z makes me feel all funny inside. It would be like a MKIV, except with an even better interior and a shorter wheelbase lol.
