I'm really interested to get Viper 791XV 2way responder DEI system for my 2004 Subaru WRX STi

and i just checked out the http://www.directed.com/security/vip..._responder.asp .

I realize that at the bottom of that webpage. it states "*Additional parts or labor may be required, remote start intended for fuel-injected automatic transmission vehicles only."
you see my 04 Subaru STi is equipped with a 6MT standard tranmission. i wonder if the remote starter on the 791XV responder will work on my STi. Can you guys whoever got a remote system clarify that for me? would a remote starter ever works on our STi's?

used a 791xv, but if you do this without creating somekind of a "protective" circuit, you are just asking for a lawsuit. i own a business where we install these things on all kinds of cars that aren't supposed to have them, but we create magnetic switched circuits around the shifter so that the car can not start in gear. because i promise you that every person that has done this and not built some sort of preventative circuit for an in-gear start up has had their car start up and drive into something, or god forbid, someone, and i guarantee that this will usually end up in a lawsuit.
