speaker sizes are 5 1/4 in the rear doors and 6 1/2's in the front.

if money isn't a factor, why not go with focal? they sound awesome! especially the utopia line. but be prepared to pay some $$$$.

The sub should still work. As long as you don't disturb the harness and just plug it as-is into the harness adapter for the new HU, all the connections for the sub are still there. It gets power through the harness and input from the rear speaker connections. No turn-on connection is required.
I have an aftermarket HU (Alpine) with the stock sub and I didn't have to do anything to make it work, it just did.
