Where can i buy some new tweeters for the 02 wrx? What size are they? I do not want any online sites. What stores would have them? Thanks.

any car audio store should have them.

careful about the shape and mounting points thoough.

clicky here for what the brackets look like:

scroll down just a tad...

now, be careful. if you buy the tweeters alone, you may not get a proper passive crossover.

you might end up with a system that is TOO bright.

that's why you see component setups that cost a lot since they design the crossover to be part of the system...

If you get tweeters that are surface mountable you should be OK. Just make sure they have the option of being flat surface mounted (not angled) and don't protrude more than 3/4"

I agree with going with components. It may sound good or it may sound funny, but (I'm assuming you're running the stock deck) it'll be a safer bet to go with matched components.
