Split at OEM sub harness?
I'm installing an amp and sub for my friend's 02 WRX. It will attach to his OEM system and the amp has speaker level inputs. And don't flame me because this is a weak setup, but he got both amp and sub for free (can't beat free).
My question is, am I right to tap off of the OEM sub harness (violet LR+, orange LR-, white RR+, black RR-)? And also, should I use the red wire (+12 V switched) on the same harness for the remote turn on lead? Thanks in advanced.
