Car Info: silver STI
I just picked up my stereo equipment yesterday. Took me a while to finally decide. I've heard that infinity KAPPAs are good but never used them before. A lot of people here are running Nakamichi. I chose to go with Rainbow 6.5 components. If you can afford it...i'd really recommend them.

About the HU...i'd take the alpine over the sony any day. I went with a simple Kenwood unit that matched the siver dash in the STI. Not too fancy but sound quality was good.

Running an arc audio 4 channel amp...gonna power the front components and bridge the rear channels to a 10" JLW6. Haven't picked up any rear speakers yet but probablly 4" Nakamichis to run off the HU simply for rear fill if I do it.

Best bet is to go to a local shop and check out the speakers for yourself. Easier to decide when you can actually hear them. Thats what made me choose what I did.

Hope that helped a bit.
