speaker installation woes

speaker installation woes
ok....... im attempting to install the infiniti reference series speakers......... i took off the driver side panel....... took the speaker off and realize i need some sort of custom spacer to finish this.......... anyone know if a audio store would sell this or is it gonna have to be a custom thing........ also......... one of those pink clips at the top of the door fell off........ i dont know what these things do but i sure dont know how to put this thing back on...... any help with this?

I those infinity's are the same ones that I bought at first(I'v sence upgraded to kenwoods) if these are the same your going to need 1/2" spacers I made mine from wood. If you dont want to do it your self I know local shops will build your spacers (normally from plastic) and install them for you. those pink things at the top of the door secure the top of the door trim. I dont know how they attach but I'd find a way to put it back on other wise you might get some nasty vibes in the trim.

thanks.......... ultimate electronics sells the spacers...... just bought them for 7.50...... i dont know why anyone would make them when they are that cheap......... and fortunately i got the pink clip on unfortuantely i snapped it when putting the panel back on........ im not sure maybe i clipped it back on in the wrong spot....... i guess ill have to order one of those...... i doubt my local dealer stocks them.
