Speaker and Amp question
I'm looking at getting the kappa 6.5" 2 way components in front from my coupe rs, and 6.5" 3-ways in the back. I want to get the Phoenix gold Xenon 100.4 amp which puts out 100 rms watts into four channels, but is supposed to be extremely underated as well. However, the components have an RMS of 90, but a Peak of 270, and the 3-ways have a RMS of 75, but a peak of 225. Would it be bad to power these speakers with that amp, because of too much power or whatever? Also, do I need to take tweaters into account, or is there some way of powering them through the main speakers or something? Thanks!

you will be fine w/ that amp and w/ the component set the tweeter will take the place of the stock one but make sure the speaker will fit in the door before buying them some of thoose sets can be pretty deep and the window will hit it
just dont turn the amp all the way up !!! good luck
