Hello everyone!

Im a newbi to the forum. I just got a new 04 wrx(shizie!!!). Awesome car! Anyways, the radio sucks... so I started researching what the scoobie guys do for tunes. I collected a bunch of componets to install this weakend.

Kicker k525 coaxial speakers for teh rear - ebay 49.99
Kicker rs6c componet speakers for the front - ebay 149.99
MTX thunder 404 4x50 amp - Crutchfield 270
Alpine 9811 (with aux input for my ipod!!!) - ebay 239

I talked to EastCoastScoobie... I the guinie pig that is going to test out his install ring in a 04 for the front speakers. Im going to mount the amp under teh seat(velcro?), and teh croses in the doors.

Im hoping to have some pics up after the install... any pointers or advice on running the wires, or mounting components would be apreciated...

I got quite a bit of work done today. I got the HU, amp, and front componets installed. Tomorow Ill finish up with the rear speakers. Which brings me to this my question.

Do 03 and earlyer wrx have side air bags? The 04 has them, and the sensor is located right in front of the access to teh conduit betwen the rear door and the piller. I dont realy see a way to get teh speaker wire out there...

any ideas?
